Senior DBA Software Engineer.

We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator with extensive expertise in SQL Server, particularly in SQL Server migrations, to join our team. The ideal candidate will take on a leadership role in managing and optimizing our SQL Server databases, monitoring performance, applying indexes, conducting vulnerability testing, ensuring compatibility with the latest versions, and having knowledge of .NET Core. Additionally, experience in Azure (SQL, Service Bus, App Service) and familiarity with Dot net core (MediatR, microservices) are highly desirable. The candidate will play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of database management.

Responsibilities:

-Lead the monitoring of space, storage, and performance of SQL Server databases.
-Apply advanced indexing and query optimization techniques to ensure optimal performance.
-Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to junior database administrators and review their implementations.
-Conduct thorough vulnerability testing to ensure the highest level of data security.
-Oversee SQL Server database compatibility assessments for version migrations, including the migration from 2008 to 2019.
-Explore and recommend new areas for data encryption and the adoption of the latest SQL Server versions.
-Collaborate with the team and provide expert guidance to understand the impact on performance and database management.
-Drive and implement continuous improvements in database management practices.
