Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager (China Operations)
What you will be doing
* Lead and coordinate end-to-end manufacturing operations with factories and suppliers in China.
* Own production execution from pilot builds through mass production readiness.
* Manage production schedules, timelines, manufacturing risks, and operational dependencies.
* Coordinate with Chinese suppliers, EMS partners, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth execution across the supply chain.
* Monitor manufacturing KPIs, including yield rates, defect rates, production throughput, and on-time delivery metrics.
* Ensure proper implementation of product testing procedures, validation stations, quality controls, and manufacturing SOPs.
* Coordinate freight operations, customs processes, and international shipping from China to the United States.
* Manage Incoterms execution (FOB, EXW, DDP, etc.) and optimize logistics costs and lead times.
* Work closely with engineering teams to resolve manufacturing, testing, and production issues.
* Build and maintain operational tracking systems, production dashboards, inventory visibility, and reporting mechanisms.
* Identify supply chain risks proactively and implement mitigation plans to avoid production delays.
* Coordinate NPI (New Product Introduction) activities and support production scaling initiatives.
* Drive process improvements across manufacturing, logistics, supplier communication, and operational efficiency.
* Oversee vendor performance and establish accountability across suppliers and manufacturing partners.
* Ensure manufacturing readiness for product launches and future scaling efforts.
