Staff Web UI Engineer (React + Angular + TS)
What you will be doing
* Lead Web Development Initiatives: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using Angular and other modern web technologies.
* Architect and Implement Solutions: Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
* Git Branching Strategy: Define, manage, and enforce Git branching strategies to ensure streamlined development workflows, high code quality, and efficient team collaboration.
* Manage Frequent Releases: Oversee release trains to ensure timely, predictable release cycles. Use feature flags to decouple deployment from feature release, allowing delayed testing and progressive rollouts.
* Continuous Deployment: Partner with DevOps and drive the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that code is automatically tested, integrated, and deployed with minimal manual intervention.
* Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to best practices.
* Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business goals.
* Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance across the application stack to ensure fast, responsive user experiences.
* Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up to date on the latest web development trends and advancements to bring innovative ideas and technologies to the team.
