AI Features & Quality Engineer
What you will be doing
You will be part of a dynamic team building a first-of-its-kind AI-powered “co-intelligence” for industrial manufacturing, combining data analytics, generative AI, and interactive guidance to help reduce wasted energy and carbon footprint from large manufacturers.
Role responsibilities:
This is cutting-edge work at the frontier of AI-powered application technology:
- You will be part of a team inventing new patterns and methodologies for building trustworthy LLM-powered applications, as traditional software design patterns don’t extend into these new domains.
- Your work will span architecture, design, implementation, and iterative quality tuning, across multiple system layers including the backend data stack and LLM agent implementation.
- It will be grounded through hands-on involvement in customer pilots, giving you direct access to user feedback and requirements as you create and improve your features.
Also, as a software engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new features and improvements to the experimentation platform.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Estimate and provide timely follow-up to assigned tasks or projects.
- Seek continuous improvement in all assigned tasks, procedures, and responsibilities.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementations.
- You are hands-on, self-motivated, and excited by the prospect of digging in to understand the behavior of a complex system, hypothesizing and conceptualizing improvements, making and experimenting with changes across a wide system surface area, and evaluating trade-offs.
- You thrive in an early-stage startup environment, and are comfortable working independently, self-directing your work to align with a broader technical and product vision, and adapting to change.
